Water Marbled Easter Eggs

Using only nail polish a bucket of water paper towels and a wooden skewer you can turn a dozen ceramic eggs into gorgeous works of art.

Mix 1 4 cup boiling water 1 teaspoon vinegar 1 8 teaspoon oil and 4 to 8 drops food color in shallow bowl. Eggs nail polish cup with water toothpick or skewer. Roll the egg as you lower it further into the water so that the nail polish adheres to all sides of the egg. Hold an egg in your hands with fingers at the top and bottom.

Lift your egg from the water and let it dry on the side. Use your toothpick or skewer to swirl and swoosh the colors around in your cup. If you have an egg dipper load the egg onto the dipper. Drop a few drops of nailpolish into your water cup in concentric circles.

Diy water marble chick easter eggs using nail polish. Make sure to agitate mixture with fork or small whisk so oil droplets are small. Simply drip a few drops of nail polish in water swirl then submerge your eggs into the mixture. This year we re making easy marbled easter eggs.

Repeat if second color is desired. Pour off hot water and rapidly cool eggs by running them under cold water or place in ice water until completely cooled. Gently lower the egg onto the surface of the water so that the nail polish starts adhering to the egg.
