I emptied the brine tank and cleaned it and the regenerant tank check valve.

If your brine line float control gets clogged with salt take it out wash it and check to make sure it s working correctly clogging can occur where the brine.
Check the caps of the brine tank and brine well for a tight fit.

The drain line flow control valve can also develop a blockage.
